TX Man Accused of Using Dog to Attack Police Horses
Police were trying to determine whether the dog attack was deliberate, so they reviewed surveillance footage from HALO cameras posted in that area, the affidavit said. The video showed that Farmer followed the mounted police unit with his dog on his shoulder. There, he lowered his dog onto the street, the document said.

Off-Duty TX Detective Saved Lives by Shooting Road Rage Suspect, Police Say
The Burnet County (TX) Sheriff’s Office said the Austin Police Department officer – identified by APD Interim Chief Brian Manley Friday morning as a 19-year detective of the department – called 911 around 10:15 p.m. Nov. 30 to report he came upon a road rage incident while on the way home. The suspect, described by Manley as a 55-year-old white man, was firing on a vehicle with a family of three inside around eight miles east of Marble Falls.

Ford Takes Action on Carbon Monoxide Concerns
Ford Motor Company has announced it will offer to cover the cost of specific repairs in its Police Interceptor Utility vehicles with carbon monoxide concerns. This follows the Austin (Texas) Police Department's announcement that it would pull more than 400 PIUs out of service on Friday due to carbon monoxide concerns.

Austin Patrol Car Burned at Anti-ICE Protest
A person smashed the rear window of an unoccupied Austin police patrol car and threw a lit firework inside it early Sunday morning near the site of recent protests against immigration enforcement operations in the area, police officials said. The interior of the car burned.
