MIR (Mobile Incident Reporting) Systems is dedicated to making it easier for officers in the field to interact with dispatch, manage reports, and communicate with supervisors. MIR software was designed to look and function as easily as a smartphone app and operates on the company's durably designed Mobile Tablets. Using MIR tablets, officers can take high-def video and images, and the software will automatically attach the video or image to the incident report and classify itself in the report as evidence. Voice recognition allows an officer to dictate reports in minutes. Officers can also use the tablets to stream live video back to their supervisors.

The new Collision Reporting tool from Appriss was developed to help law enforcement agencies determine traffic trouble spots so they can be eliminated or their toll can be mitigated. User Col. Steve Wagner, chief deputy of the Hendricks County (Ind.) Sheriff’s Office, says the software has “vastly improved” the agency’s ability to collect, submit, and analyze crash data.
