Oakland Norteño Named In Injunction Arrested With Rifle Strapped to Chest
Since police filed the case in October, 15 of 40 members named in a gang injunction have been arrested, including one in a court room. The injunction bars the men from hanging out together in a 2-square-mile "safety zone" and imposes a 10 p.m. curfew.

The investigation focused on the East Side Longos gang, one of the oldest Hispanic gangs in the city. The gang claims territory in central Long Beach, and members are believed to be responsible for six shootings in this geographical area, including the recent attempted murder of the two Gang Enforcement detectives.

Today, LBPD officers have the ability to retrieve documents such as tickets, restraining orders, arrest reports, policies and procedures. The system allows them to retrieve the documents from their patrol vehicles, whereas in the past they could only view them from computers in the police station.

Gang Injunction Splits a San Fernando Valley Community
This summer, law enforcement officials enacted an injunction targeting San Fer. It is the 37th gang injunction in Los Angeles and the largest yet, covering nearly 10 square miles in Sylmar and San Fernando, and it has left a troubled community deeply divided.
