Officer Kenneth Moreno allegedly took advantage of a Gap employee who had given the officer the keys to her East Village apartment. Officer Moreno's partner Officer Franklin Mata has also been charged for apparently helping to cover up the crime.

Three Chicago Officers Stripped of Powers for On-Duty Sex
The initial two officers noticed the woman on Wednesday walking and crying. The officers apparently gave her a ride in their marked Chevy Tahoe SUV, and she reported having sex with one in the passenger seat. The three officers apparently went into the woman's apartment, played strip poker, and had sex with the woman.

The officer made the remarks while speaking at Osgoode Hall Law School. As assistant dean said that kind of remark makes it difficult for sexual assault victims to trust officers.

Information provided in the kits from the original backlog has resulted in 521 matches in a national database of known offenders. There also have been 41 "case-to-case hits," some of which found serial offenders or an unknown suspect who has committed other crimes.

Conn. Agencies Use Appriss to Track Sex Offenders
The public can now access the state's upgraded system to track the whereabouts of registered sex offenders by street location, city or town, or by a radial area, a registrant's name, or by compliance status. In addition, parents can print fliers on child safety from their own computers.

LASD Seeks Suspects In Video Assaults on Disabled Women
The assaults came to light, when a bundle of 11 DVDs were dropped off by an anonymous tipster at the sheriff's Monterey Park substation. Some of the footage is believed to have been taken from surveillance cameras, while other footage was likely shot with hand-held cameras of accomplices.

According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Greaves is being charged with distribution of obscene material depicting minors engaged in conduct harmful to minors. The offense is a third degree felony under Florida law.

FBI Warns LE Agencies About Video Barbie Porn
The $50 Video Girl Barbie, which hit toy stores in July, can record 30 minutes of footage, which can be uploaded to a computer. The Nov. 30 memo told agents to be on the lookout for Video Girl Barbie as a "possible child pornography production method."

The FBI said federal agents and local and state police rounded up more than 880 adults on charges related to the sexual exploitation of minors, human trafficking and prostitution activities.
