Lance Leeroy Arellano, 40, is has been named a person of interest in the shooting of park ranger Brody Young. The ranger was shot in the arm, leg and stomach, after pulling over a vehicle at the Poison Spider Mesa trail head at about 8:40 p.m.

Slain California Cop's Dash-Cam Image Fuels Manhunt
The suspect was last seen wearing dark clothing and a light colored baseball cap and believed to be armed with a handgun. Additionally, the department said the suspect's vehicle was a stolen rental big rig that was recovered a few miles from the crime scene.
