One Day After CHP Officer Attacked and Suspect Killed, Deputies Serve Related Warrants
The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is assisting the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, said Laura Eimiller, an FBI spokeswoman. She she deferred questions about the investigation to Riverside because the Sheriff’s Department is the lead agency. Authorities are not saying why the JTTF was involved in the case.

FBI Agent Reportedly Fired Shots at Michigan Police Officer
The shots were fired around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday near a Planet Fitness. Officers were called there after Hernandez was seen with a firearm inside the gym. Authorities say the suspect shot at a police sergeant who tried to speak with him outside.

FBI Report: 41 Officers Feloniously Killed in 2015
The FBI released its annual Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted (LEOKA) report on officers killed and assaulted Tuesday. The 2015 report says 41 officers were feloniously killed in 2015, a decrease from 51 officers feloniously killed in 2015.
