Camden, N.J., Pays $2.25 Million to Family of Missing Children Found Dead After Search
Three families whose children suffocated to death after they accidentally locked themselves in the trunk of an old car have received a settlement of $2.25 million from the city of Camden, N.J. after they sued the city claiming the police failed to find the children in time.

NYPD and Federal Marine Experts Search for Missing US Airways Engine in Hudson
Police harbor officers are using sonar-equipped boats and working with a sonar expert from the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration as they search the area where the plane came down Thursday, near the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. The NYPD is also monitoring the river from the air because sensitive equipment could be damaged by ice and must be removed if the river gets too icy.
