It is certified to meet NFPA standards 1994 Class 2, and 1992. The MT94 offers a high level of vapor protection as required under NFPA 1994 Class 2.

Ever wished your department had a Predator unmanned aerial vehicle? Well, you probably can’t afford one. However, you can have a UAV. AeroVironment’s Raven is a hand-launched propeller-driven glider that can send live color video back to a ground-based monitor. It’s controlled just like a radio-controlled airplane. Law enforcement applications include surveillance, search and rescue, and other outdoor operations.

Escape Rescue Systems
The Escape Rescue System is a building-wide solution for safe, external evacuation of building tenants and the rapid transport of rescue personnel to the upper reaches of a skyscraper. The system is composed of at least two devices; each is an array of five collapsible cabins. The system is permanently stored on the roof in a folded position. Upon activation by first responders, each array is lowered to the ground.

More than 2 percent of the agency's complement of 1,400 was killed in the attack, and to add insult to extreme injury, its headquarters were on the 67th floor of 1 World Trade Center.
