Calcasieu Parish (La.) Sheriff's Office deputy Randall Benoit died in a head-on collision Wednesday in Carlyss. Dep. Benoit was killed when a Ford Focus driven by Charles Harrell, 28, crossed the center line and struck his patrol car.
