A 22-year-old Arizona man rode his motorcycle 50 miles around Phoenix attempting to outrun a police helicopter, traveling at speeds of up to 100 mph and heading down a wrong-way street leading into an airport terminal.

Omaha Pursuit Leads to Gunfight
Omaha (Neb.) police follow a robbery suspect who fires on officers during the pursuit as well as during a shootout at the end, where one cruiser ends up in a precarious position. Officer Matt Rech, whose patrol car video captured much of the chase, is heard calmly relaying information during the Nov. 29, 2006 pursuit. The agency named Rech as an officer of the year for 2007.

The vehicle is available with a variety of custom options and is currently being used by several Texas agencies as a highway car for drug interdiction duty in solid black. Female Driver Can't Outfox CHP
This pursuit involves one vehicle with a female driver. The police chased her all morning, and finally stopped her with a PIT (Pursuit Intervention Technique) maneuver, and then "boxing" her in. She refuses to get out of the vehicle so officers had to pull/drag her out.

"I thank God my partner had the balls to do what he had to do," he said. "I'd rather he take [the shot at me] than hesitate and get me or both of us killed. He's my partner, and any guys that are Monday morning quarterbacking the guy can kiss my ass."

Wrong-Way Driver Leads Officers Through Los Angeles
The LAPD chases a murder suspect during a vehicle pursuit that starts with the driver weaving through traffic lanes running off a bridge to head into wrong-way traffic. Eventually, about 30 officers converge on the suspect for the arrest, but only after a physical confrontation. The pursuit was on May 30, 2008 and is documented via SkyFox footage. He was suspected of murdering his girlfriend.

A man who carjacked a Chevrolet Tahoe in a Visalia, Calif., parking lot using a sawed-off shotgun led police on a high-speed pursuit, until OnStar operators disabled the vehicle using a new feature added in 2009, the Los Angeles Times reports.
