A circuit judge ruled Wednesday that the case against six Baltimore police officers charged in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray will go forward in separate trials, with Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby remaining at the helm of the prosecution.

Case Against Baltimore Officers in Freddie Gray Death Heads to Court
A "Security/Media Protocol Order" from the Circuit Court's administrative judge outlined heightened security at the courthouse, specific restrictions on members of the news media and expected courtroom decorum. The Baltimore sheriff's office, meanwhile, plans to ensure order with "an increased presence" of deputies inside and outside Courtroom 234, a windowless space on the second floor of Courthouse East.

Jurors told Judge Robert Ervin that they had taken 3 votes so far, and after the third vote were still split 8-4. Neither they nor the judge gave any indication of which way the 8 jurors were leaning.

Officer Adam Neal, whose car captured the dash cam video described what can't be seen on the video, saying that after the initial volley of shots, Jonathan Ferrell's upper body fell on Officer Kerrick's legs, the two men then fell into a ditch and continued to be engaged. More Here.
