Atlanta Police Bust Six Gang Members for Smash-and-Grab Robberies
The four adults and two juveniles were being questioned by detectives Tuesday morning, Atlanta police spokesman Otis Redmond said. Redmond said three of the suspects had arrest warrants for previous thefts at a Radio Shack store in Atlanta and Georgio's Big and Tall men's store in the Greenbriar Mall.

Georgia Agency to Review Fatal Chase
Chief Jeff Turner of the Clayton County Police Department said the chase began around 9:30 p.m., in Clayton County when officers saw the pickup slow and then stop so the driver could talk to a woman beside the road. That area of Old Dixie Highway at I-75 is known for prostitution but Turner said it was not known if the man was soliciting the woman for sex.

Georgia Sheriff Adds 30 Hybrid Propane Patrol Vehicles
Force 911 has completed the installation of 30 hybrid propane fuel systems for Jackson County (Ga.) Sheriff's Department. The fuel conversions create a dual fuel system in each vehicle, allowing it to run on traditional gasoline or propane gas. The county was able to purchase the propane fuel systems using seized drug funds.
