The FBI is searching for three gang-affiliated fugitives indicted as part of a multi-agency narcotics task force operation in suburban New York that led to the indictment of 78 individuals, the federal agency announced.

On May 13, the FBI's Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force (HVSSTF) conducted a operation in Newburgh, New York. Seventy-eight gang members were indicted in the Southern District of New York on various federal charges. Starting in the early morning hours, over 500 law enforcement personnel made the arrests.

The FBI and Safe Street task force are seeking the public's assistance to locate the three fugitives, who were identified as Kamar Everett, Anthony Mays and Moleek Sampson.

"We have had tremendous success in apprehending most of these fugitives, but are still waiting to round up the remaining three who we believe are hiding out in the Newburgh, New York area," stated Jim Gagliano, leader of the task force and supervisory special agent. "The investigation will continue at full speed until all these men are brought to justice."

Wanted posters listing the names of the fugitives and those that have been captured has been made available to the public. Those who were indicted are suspected to be members of the Bloods and Latin Kings gangs.

"With their pictures displayed on various media outlets, someone out there will certainly recognize these individuals," said Special Agent Richard Kolko. "The public can play a valuable role in tracking down the remaining fugitives. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is requested to call the FBI or local police."
