VIDEO: Fla. Cops Fatally Shoot Teen

Tampa Police say two officers were forced to fatally shoot Javon Neal, 19, after he pointed a shotgun at them, while family members questioned the shooting, claiming Neal was unarmed.

The officers were cleared of criminal charges in the July 22 shooting, and newly released surveillance footage from the scene appears to support the officers.

The footage shows Officers Shannon Murphy and Gregory Pryor pursue Neal up a flight of stairs and open fire after Neal walks out of the camera's view. However, a closer look at the video shows what appears to be a shotgun concealed in Neal's pants leg.

Conslee Ray, a family friend, disagreed with the department's interpretation of the footage.

"It did not show no gun," Ray told MyFoxTampaBay. "It showed that he was holding up his pants."
