San Pablo Police, CA, Police Officer William K. Zink was killed Thursday in a motorcycle crash while commuting to work.

Zink was struck by a big rig on westbound Interstate 80, according California Highway Patrol Officer David Harvey.

Zink, 53, was a school resource officer at Helms Middle School in San Pablo, KPIX TV reports.
