Officers with the Selma (AL) Police Department have arrested a man for impersonating a police officer.
According to AlabamaNews.net, the man—identified as 26-year-old Sean Payton Lann—is also charged with robbery and criminal mischief.
Police Chief Kenta Fulford said in a statement that Lann had been initiating traffic stops in a car equipped with blue lights. He says Lann was caught and arrested by real police officers Monday after a brief vehicle pursuit.
Lann is being held on $36,000 bond.
