The 2024 PTX, scheduled for Sept. 18-20 in New Orleans, has been renamed as the Police Technology & Equipment eXchange (PTEX). Participating vendors at this year’s event will include technology companies that make tools such as body-worn cameras, software, and license plate recognition systems; as well as equipment companies that make products like ballistic protection, optics and sights, and vehicle lights and sirens.
As a hosted buyer event, PTEX will match representatives from agencies interested in purchasing certain products with the vendors of those tools.
Invited law enforcement agency representatives attend the event for free.
“The expanded format will provide agency representatives with a greater opportunity to create impactful connections and develop new business relationships,” says David Gesualdo, publisher of POLICE.
Qualified applicants who are selected to attend PTX will receive roundtrip economy airfare to New Orleans, a two night resort stay at the event site, ground transfers from the airport to the resort, and all schedules at no cost to them. Incidentals, including ground transportation to and from your home airport, baggage fees, and parking are not included.
