Officer Down Memorial Ride Postponed, Police Week 5K Virtual

The Officer Down Memorial Fund has had to make significant changes to its two annual fundraisers this year.

Every year, ODMP hosts two annual fundraisers, the Officer Down Memorial Ride and the National Police Week 5K. The Officer Down Memorial Fund relies on these events to raise critical funds to fulfill ODMP's mission of honoring fallen law enforcement. In light of the current public health crisis, however, the organization announced it has had to make significant changes to both events this year.
The Officer Down Memorial Ride has been postponed until fall and will now take place on Saturday, September 19th. Registration has temporarily been suspended and will reopen in the summer. If you've already registered, your registration will be transferred to the fall event. The ODMR Raffle, however, will still take place on April 25th and raffle tickets are available for purchase online. One ticket gives you two chances to win and supports a good cause.

The National Police Week 5K has been made fully virtual, and the virtual event will still take place on Saturday, May 9th. All current registered participants will be transferred to virtual participants and race shirts. Bibs and runner packets will be mailed out beginning in April. You can still register for this virtual event and join the hundreds of other supporters who will run, walk, and row to remember fallen heroes on May 9th.
