The New York Tactical Officers Association (NYTOA) will present a class on weapon retention and close-quarter combat through the Law Enforcement Education Program (LEEP) at SHOT Show later this month in Las Vegas.

The class titled "Weapon Retention and Presentation from Close Quarter Combat" is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday Jan. 23 in the Marcello 4404 room in the Sands Convention Center.

Topics covered will be weapon retention best practices—including retention during ground struggle and against a wall or barrier—and the concepts of angles, control, and distance management during weapon presentation.

POLICE sponsors the LEEP program in partnership with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF).
