New Jersey Man Shot Dead After Stabbing Police Officer

A press release from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said that 32-year-old Timothy Deal stabbed an officer in the torso with a knife in an unprovoked attack.

A man was shot and killed after stabbing a police officer Friday night during an investigation into a hit-and-run crash, according to The Press of Atlantic City.

A press release from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said that 32-year-old Timothy Deal stabbed an officer in the torso with a knife in an unprovoked attack. The wounded officer then shot and killed Deal.

The officer was treated and released from a local hospital.
