The Rochester (N.Y.) Police Department has begun an internal probe of an officer's arrest of a woman who videotaped officers questing a subject from her front yard.

Emily Good, 28, was arrested May 12 at her 19th Ward home. She was filming officers while they questioned a man Good identified as "a friend."

Assistant Public Defender Stephanie Stare argued in a court filing that Good's presence 10-15 feet from the officers "strains credibility" that she could have interfered with their investigation.

Officer Mario Masic repeatedly asked Good to return inside the home and eventually arrested her when she didn't comply.
