The Optics 1 Clip-On Thermal Imager (COTI) is a miniaturized infrared thermal device that can convert almost any ordinary night vision device (PVS-14/7/BNVD) into a "fusion" type system that combines thermal imaging with image intensified (I2) night vision. The COTI can detect heat signals at up to 500 meters in extreme low-light conditions, and it can provide images through dense fog and smoke.
