ICOP Digital Inc. is partnering with General Dynamics Itronix to market mobile video and rugged computing solutions to their public safety, homeland security and military customers.
The ICOP products, combined with the General Dynamics notebook, will provide high-quality video and audio to help officers and first responders mitigate risks, reduce losses and improve safety and security in the line of duty, according to a joint announcement.
"ICOP is honored to work with General Dynamics Itronix, to market our mobile video product to its public safety, homeland security and military customers in the U.S.," says David C. Owen, ICOP's chairman and CEO. "This partnership provides customers with a superior solution for capturing, managing and live streaming video."
In addition to ICOP's digital video recorders, the company will furnish the software to support the management of the stored recorded video. The company will also provide ICOP LIVE, a streaming video option that provides the viewing and sharing of live video simultaneously among unlimited viewers.
General Dynamics Itronix is a developer of wireless, rugged computing solutions that offers a field-computing systems that include laptops, ultra-mobile notebook PCs and tablet PCs.
The company's rugged, vehicle notebooks help law enforcement by making mobile computing more viewable, powerful and secure, according to the company.
