Inc. Magazine Names Spillman To List of Fastest Growing Companies
Public safety software company Spillman Technologies ranked as one of nation's 5,000 fastest growing private companies for the fourth consecutive year, according to Inc. Magazine.

"Spillman's practice of continuous innovation and superior customer service has allowed us to experience steady growth in this difficult economy," according to Lance Clark, Spillman's president and CEO. "Our customers look to us for the most cutting-edge public safety software in the industry, and we are dedicated to providing them with solutions that meet today's law enforcement challenges."
The Salt Lake City business provides software solutions such as Records and Resource Management, CAD, Mobile Communications, Corrections Management, Fire and EMS Management, and Data Sharing for over 800 public safety agencies in the U.S. Spillman was also one of 272 software companies and 81 companies from Utah to make Inc.'s 2010 list.
"The leaders of the companies on this year's Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression," according to Bob LaPointe, Inc.'s president. "The 2010 Inc. 5,000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs."
The measuring period took place from 2006 to 2009, with combined revenue among the companies increasing to $321.6 billion, up more than 50 percent from 2009. In addition, this year's 5,000 employ 1.4 million people, up from one million on the list from the previous year.
