A Florida restaurant manager caused an uproar on Saturday, when he sent a tweet sympathetic to Occupy protesters advocating cop killing.
On Monday, Rusty Braxton complained that he had received several death threats and said the tweet was a misunderstanding, reports the New York Daily News.
Braxton posted the tweet at about 11:40 p.m. under his Twitter handle "smackema1" on Ustream during a live feed of Occupiers attempting to retake Zuccotti Park on the six-month anniversary of the movement. He wrote, "We won't make a difference if we don't kill a cop or 2."
The NYPD arrested 73 people Saturday during protests that were broadcast via the Internet via Ustream, reports Fox News.
