Simulator Systems International has introduced the Python HTR Generation III robot for tactical and HazMat applications.
This rugged work-class robot has motorized shape-changing tracks that aid in stair climbing and allow the robot to better negotiate difficult obstacles. The Python HTR's digital mesh communications give it a long LOS (line of sight) flicker-free clear video transmission (over 4,300 feet with one relay hop) and the ability to "bounce" the signal around corners of buildings.
This sophisticated mesh telemetry is ideally suited for congested urban applications. The robot has "quick-change" modules such as a P/T/Z (pan/tilt/zoom) camera, FLIR camera, and HazMat kit.
The Python HTR Generation III is built for serious applications and offers high-torque, 48 VDC gear-head motors, and a quick-change battery pack for extra strength and endurance.
