American Technologies Network Corp. developed the TICO-series thermal clip-ons that mount in front of a day-time scope and enables thermal vision in day or nighttime operations.
The clip-ons are lightweight and will not affect the balance of the firearm, according to ATN. There is a quick-release MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny mount that allows for fast attachment and detachment.
Made from aircraft grade aluminum 6061 T6 with coating to prevent corrosion and abrasion, it is built to withstand a variety of operating conditions. The display is a color OLED matrix and it has video output capabilities.
It is available as the TICO-336 model with a 336 x 256 microbolometer sensor and a frame rate of 30 or 60 Hz, and the TICO-640 model with a 640 x 480 sensor and 30 Hz frame rate.
