Sagem Morpho will introduce its 3rd generation Morpho RapID handheld biometric device at the 2008 International Association for Identification (IAI) Conference. The “Morpho RapID 1100” integrates a digital camera to support facial recognition, and features a larger screen, a keyboard, and enhanced wireless communication capabilities.

BIO-key’s new WEB-key fingerprint-based authentication systems give agencies a way to control access to secure applications. WEB-key uses biometrics technology to scan, measure, and analyze individual fingerprints, comparing them to a database of live images to confirm or deny access into any secured, registered area. Users can register their fingerprints with BIO-key, so other forms of identification are unnecessary.

LiveScan products feature sequence checking for fingerprints and palmprints, three-part full palm capture, instant live video of image feedback, and multi-language support with a translation table. The LiveScan lines are designed to interface with Motorola’s Printrak Biometrics Identification Solutions.
