Feds Indict 65 In N.Y. Gang Sweep
Federal authorities unsealed five indictments Tuesday charging 65 people with crimes such as murder, narcotics distribution, and firearms possession in Yonkers, New York. Of those, 59 are members or associates of the Elm Street Wolves or the Cliff Street Gangsters street gangs.

Former Arizona Deputies Indicted for Drug Ripoff
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona announced today the unsealing of superseding indictment charging two former Pima County Deputy Sheriffs for a conspiracy to steal money that they believed was the proceeds of drug trafficking, and for the attempted acquisition and distribution of narcotics.

Chicago Feds Indict Mexican Drug Cartel Leaders
Calling it the most significant narcotics conspiracy case of its kind ever in Chicago, authorities today announced indictments against leaders of warring Mexican drug cartels blamed for increasing violence south of the border and for bringing up to four tons of cocaine to the city each month for national distribution.

San Diego Cop Accused of Tipping Off Drug Traffickers
Officer Juan Hurtado Tapia, 38, was arraigned on federal charges of obstruction, fraud, and making false statements, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
