Tru-Spec Donates Wool Blankets To Warm Homeless Hearts
Wool-blend blankets will be given to the homeless in the Atlanta area via MUST ministries, Nicholas House, Cross Roads, Catholic Mission, Action Ministry and in the Memphis area via Manna House and the Memphis Family Shelter.

TRU-SPEC TRU XTREME Tactical Uniform
TRU-SPEC
The new TRU XTREME tactical uniform from TRU-SPEC is actually a component system comprising four separate garments: uniform pant, shirt, vest , and a combat shirt. All are made of Cordura 50/50 nylon cotton rip-stop. Features include lots of pockets, Mandarin collars to keep out debris, and angled cuffs for wrist and hand protection. Available in black, khaki, olive drab, navy, and MultiCam.

Tru-Spec has added three waterproof, weatherproof jackets and a pair of rain pants to its 24-7 Series line of on-duty and off-duty tactical apparel. All four outerwear items feature a waterproof WeatherShield shell made from 100 percent nylon.

Tru-Spec Introduces Xtreme Tactical Uniforms
The tactical response uniform pant and shirt are made with 50/50 nylon cotton rip-stop with SuperFabric external knee and elbow pockets. A tri-pocket on the lower left shirt sleeve has a document window for displaying ID as well as slots for pens and pencils.

Wet Weather Wear
What should you consider when looking at outerwear for duty or most any foul weather? First, versatility. Because quality outerwear is expensive, it needs to serve for at least three seasons out of the year. The second item to consider is whether the outer jacket is truly waterproof or just water resistant; there is nothing worse than being cold and wet. Last is the price. If the clothing breaks the bank it will cause issues.
