A man who received the death penalty for murdering a Kirkwood, Mo., police officer asked the Missouri Supreme Court today to give him a new trial. Kevin Johnson, now 23, was convicted of first-degree murder in November 2007 for the July 2005 shooting of Kirkwood police Sgt. William McEntee, 43.
