LAPD Heads to Paris to Learn from Terrorist Tragedy
Hoping to learn about ways to prevent and respond to terrorist attacks, the Los Angeles Police Department will send a team to Paris to meet with authorities there as they continue to carry out raids on suspected terror cells in response to the attacks that left 129 people dead.

Man Charged in Plot to Bomb Sept. 11 Memorial in Missouri
A Florida man who claimed in online forums to have inspired terrorists in Australia and Texas was arrested after telling an informant how to build a homemade bomb to attack a 9/11 memorial in Missouri, according to a criminal complaint.

Regal Entertainment Group has become the first national cinema chain to announce random inspections of bags and backpacks. The new policy, posted on its website, says "backpacks and bags of any kind are subject to inspection prior to admission."

ISIS-Inspired Terror Plot Targeted Australian Police
“At this stage, we have no information that it was a planned beheading,” a terrorism expert for Australia's federal police said. “But there was reference to an attack on police. Some evidence that we have collected at a couple of the scenes, and some other information we have, leads us to believe that this particular matter was ISIS-inspired.”
