Police Survivor Fights Nomination of Mumia Lawyer for DOJ Post
The National Fraternal Order of Police has classified Obama's nomination of Adegbile as, "A thumb in the eye of our nation's law enforcement," adding "It demonstrates a total lack of regard or empathy for those who strive to keep you and everyone else in our nation safe in your home and neighborhoods."

San Diego Law Enforcement Memorial Unveiled
About 1,000 family members and law enforcement officers gathered in front of the County Administration Center on Harbor Drive for the memorial's unveiling, which came after many construction delays. The keynote speaker, San Diego police Chief William Lansdowne, told officers' surviving family members in the front rows that their loved ones died โdoing something they loved to do.โ
