A disgruntled worker at a Cupertino, Calif., rock quarry opened fire on fellow workers this morning, killing two and wounding six before escaping. Tactical officers and K-9 units are now searching for Allman.

Wash. Cops Fatally Shoot School Gunman Who Fired at Pedestrians
Issaquah (Wash.) Police officers fatally shot a man armed with two rifles fired at officers and pedestrians after entering school grounds during a football game. He had also attempted to break into a vehicle and backhoe.

James Ray Palmer, 48, entered the Crawford County Courthouse in Van Buren on Sept. 13 with several handguns and a rifle. He began searching for Judge Gary Cottrell and, after entering his office, fired at staff members.

Five Ohio law enforcement agencies responded and began processing four crime scenes tied to a rampage shooting that left eight people dead on Sunday. Copley Township Police Chief Michael Mier led the coordinated effort to set up a perimeter, secure crime scenes and collect evidence.
