Sickening "Dog Wars" Game Muzzled

When the media started calling for the LAPPL's comment on a new Android video game app, we took one look at the content and decided to take the gloves off. The game in question was the sickening "Dog Wars," which lets players raise and train their virtual dogs to fight.

DroidLaw 2.0, which was released in March to the Android Market, is very useful for field officers because it allows officers to search sections of state criminal (penal) codes on their mobile devices. Public Safety Interoperability Requires a Neutral Party

The devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan, as well as the ongoing nuclear power plant malfunctions there, serves as a grim reminder that similar disasters can occur here in the U.S. We need to better equip police officers, firefighters and other public safety personnel, so they can respond immediately and cohesively to emergency situations.
