2 Texas Officers Injured Responding to 911 Call, Suspect Dead
One police officer was shot and a second was hurt while running for safety after a gunman fired at them from inside a southeast Austin, TX, home Sunday night. The SWAT team then reportedly fatally shot the suspected shooter as he tried to run away from the home with a woman. More Here.

Sacramento Police Release Body Camera Footage of Fatal Police Shooting
The department says, "Prior to the shooting, the involved officers saw the suspect facing them, advance forward with his arms extended, and holding an object in his hands. At the time of the shooting, the officers believed the suspect was pointing a firearm at them. After an exhaustive search, scene investigators did not locate any firearms. The only items found near the suspect was a cell phone." More Here. In the video, the shooting occurs around the 8 minute mark.

Protests of Sacramento Police Shooting Shut Down Freeway, Block NBA Arena
The protests are over the shooting death of Stephon Clark, 22, a suspect in a string of vehicle break-ins. Clark was killed at the end of a foot pursuit involving two Sacramento police officers. He was reportedly unarmed at the time. He was reportedly holding a cellphone and uncooperative with police commands during the nighttime shooting. More Here.

According to the criminal complaint, moments before the shooting, Harrity heard a voice and saw an unarmed person outside the squad car. Harrity said he was startled. He said that he feared for his life, pulled out his gun and held it to his ribcage while pointing it downward. More Here.
