Extech Data Systems’ Andes 3 is the first in a series of enhanced Generation 4 portable printers. Designed for harsh outdoor environments, the three-inch printer is able to withstand adverse weather conditions; it drops to concrete without diminished performance. The Andes 3 unit features a highly integrated 32-bit microcontroller from ST Microelectronics, which incorporates 4MB Flash and 1MB SRAM memory. The lightweight printer also has an in-field programmable CPU containing firmware, resident fonts, rotated fonts, downloadable fonts, graphics, multiple logos, and bar codes.
The ultra-portable 50W Dual Audio Pal from AmpliVox is designed to deliver crisp, clear sound from up to two microphones at once, and stream music and other audio for all types of indoor and outdoor events.
