A product of The Phoenix Group, Inc., the AFIX Tracker¨ is a Windows-based fingerprint matching software. The system searches both ten-prints and latents, even matching latent fragments that have no core or delta, using 360-degree rotation.
The new version four of the software, slated for premiere at the I.A.I. Conference this month in Charleston, W. Va., adds palm print capability to the software.
Currently in use by more than 60 agencies, large and small, AFIX Tracker¨ has been shown to identify matches that state systems have not — either because of limitations of older technology or political and logistic hurdles in the bureaucracy.
