WatchGuard Video, known for its law enforcement video systems, has partnered with the Grants Office LLC to publish a Grant Funding Guide for the 2016 funding season.

Through thorough research, over $1.8 billion in grant opportunities were identified, all of which provide for law enforcement projects to fund body and in-car camera systems. In addition to funding sources and their requirements, the 40-page Grant Funding Guide also offers comprehensive insight, research, and background information on video monitoring programs that can be incorporated into funding requests.

"With the almost nationwide call for more video in law enforcement, much of the onus of how to fund these programs has been placed on the individual departments," said WatchGuard President Steve Coffman. "By commissioning this study, we've been able to put a lot of useful, time-sensitive information in one place. We want the law enforcement community to know we are here as a resource for them."

The Grant Funding Guide is available for download here and is offered at no cost to law enforcement agencies.
