A 6-year-old boy Pittsburgh Police stopped for trying to steal bicycles attempted to grab an officer's gun and then bit him while inside a patrol car, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

After Officer Paul Abel stopped the boy at 7 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Straubs Lane, the boy karate-chopped him, disconnected the top of the officer's holster, and used both hands to try to grab the officer's gun, he wrote in his police report.

Officer Abel picked up the boy while he was kicking and screaming. He placed him in a patrol car. The boy then began kicking the windows of the car and, when the officer opened the rear door, lunged at the officer's hand and bit him. Because of his age, the boy has not been charged.
