Fla. Cop Convicted of Misconduct In Search

A Miramar (Fla.) Police officer has been convicted of official misconduct for falsifying records relating to the search of an accused drug dealer's apartment.

In addition to that third-degree felony, Officer Jean Paul Jacobi was also convicted of falsifying records and criminal mischief for the 2010 search. Jacobi and his co-defendant Det. Jennifer Conger entered an apartment that Reginald Beldor was using as a grow house. The keys ended up with Conger during asset forfeiture proceedings.
