Kustom Signals' ProLaser 4 LIDAR speed enforcement technology has been approved by the International Association of Chiefs of Police, who listed it as an IACP conforming product.

The compact ProLaser 4 is smaller, lighter, and faster than its predecessors. It's powered by four AA batteries and features a ruggedized pistol grip. ProLaser 4 delivers unmatched target acquisition (even through glass) and improved target range up to 8,000 feet, according to the company.

The result was achieved with superior optics and advanced software combined with a new OLED rear display and ergonomic forward-sweep pistol-design that minimizes fatigue and facilitates easy operation.

"Our law enforcement partners told us what they needed in their next generation speed enforcement laser," says Kent Hayes, senior product manager of speed at Kustom Signals. "We've taken the ProLaser III, the benchmark in the speed industry for a generation, and made it better in many ways. The new features, simple-to-use interface, and the improved performance are getting rave reviews."
