L-3 MPRI will provide highly trained and qualified police, corrections and criminal justice advisors in support of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Criminal Justice Program Support (CJPS) contract, according to the company.

This multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract will help INL train, staff and implement civilian police and criminal justice assistance programs overseas. L-3 MPRI will be working with Navigator Development Group Inc., which is one of the primary contractors for this program.

L-3 MPRI and Navigator currently have a mentor-protégé agreement in place and previously worked together in 2006 on an INL criminal justice program to support police training facility operations for the Jordanian International Police Training Center.

"L-3 MPRI is very pleased to help provide INL with the support personnel it needs to effectively implement and manage its wide array of overseas civilian police and criminal justice programs," according to Dan Doherty, general manager of L-3 MPRI's Alexandria Group. "We appreciate this opportunity to once again partner with Navigator in our continued support of key INL initiatives."

The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs advises leaders and agencies within the U.S. government on the development of policies and programs to combat international narcotics and crime.
