Michigan Milita Members Out on Bail

The defendants are to remain under home confinement and wear electronic tethers.

A federal judge ordered the release of three members of the Hutaree milita group who planned to kill a police officer and bomb the funeral today. A fourth is expected to be released on bail on Thursday.

U.S. District Court Judge Victoria Roberts' order freed Tina Stone, 44, of Clayton; David Stone Jr., 19, of Adrian; and Jacob Ward, 33, of Huron, Ohio. Kristopher Sickles, 27, of Sandusky, Ohio is the fourth defendent.

The defendants are to remain under home confinement and wear electronic tethers.

The Hutaree members were released March 27 in a series of FBI raids.
