California Officer Struck by Car During Felony Traffic Stop

A police officer with the Concord (CA) Police Department was struck by a car in Santa Cruz while the officer was attempting to arrest two wanted felons at a traffic stop.

A police officer with the Concord (CA) Police Department was struck by a car in Santa Cruz while the officer was attempting to arrest two wanted felons at a traffic stop.

During the stop, their patrol car was struck by another passing motorist.

According to KSBW-TV, the officer suffered serious injuries. His partner suffered minor injuries.

The two suspects were taken into custody.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
