Residents Thank Calif. Cops who Responded To Salon Shooting

During a town hall meeting, Seal Beach, Calif., residents credited their officers and firefighters who responded to a mass shooting at a beauty salon on Oct. 12 that left eight dead and one injured.
Within 5 ½ minutes of being dispatched, officers had taken Scott Dekraai into custody. Dekraai had been involved in a bitter custody battle with victim Michelle Fournier, a stylist at the salon.
Within 15 minutes of being dispatched, police and firefighters had triaged victims and launched their investigation, reports the Orange County Register.
