A man has died two days after he was shot by police officers who say he barricaded himself inside a Norfolk home and fatally wounded a police dog.

In a statement, Norfolk police say 58-year-old Keith Richardson died Tuesday afternoon from injuries sustained following the standoff, the Associated Press reports.

Justice has been served..........without wasting the court system. RIP K-9 Krijer.

What the hell was he thinking. Only police officers are allowed to kill dogs with no consequences. Even if they miss the dog and kill the little girl behind him then the little girl deserved it too.

Dale @ 1/15/2016 5:54 PM

What a sadistic and evil bunch you all are.
You people shoot and kill dogs whenever it seems to suit you, and all you have to say is you feared for your lives.
Somebody shoots one of your dogs and he/she is the most evil creature on the planet.
All one has to do is read the comments on here and then look at the videos of the constant abuse ladled out by American leos and it all ties together quite nicely.
How about a little more understanding and empathy before blowing off the head of someone's pet while at the same time demanding state funded funerals for K9s.

I have also noticed that your main concern on stories about 12 year old girls being shot is to assign blame to any and every one except the person whose gun killed them. Or the 6 year old boy who appears to have been executed.

The only thing that seems to bring you all together is someone's death and the vile comments afterward.
I'd probably spit in your food too. Thank god for hand held recording devices. Levels the field.
