Tulsa PD Welcomes 42 New Recruits

The Tulsa (Okla.) Police department welcomed 42 new recruits earlier this week in its first academy class in two years, reports the Tulsa World.
By establishing a recruit class, the department is moving forward after layoffs and budget cuts. The department is also facing a federal corruption probe. In the past, academy classes have had just 20 to 25 members.
