Atlanta Police Host Job Fairs To Find 150 Recruits

The Atlanta Police Department hosted a job fair and testing on Tuesday, hiring to fill the next two academy classes for 2009, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The department, which has announced its goal of hiring for 150 positions, is looking to populate an academy class scheduled to start in mid-September.
A starting Atlanta police recruit makes $34,726 in salary. More information about the hiring initiative is available at the department's recruitment Web page. The department has also produced a recruitment video.
