Police advisor co-authors new survival book

August 01, 2000  |

Defensive Living: Attitudes, Tactics & Proper Handgun Use to Secure Your Personal Well-Being, has recently been released by Looseleaf Law Publications, Inc. The book, written by retired CIA operations officer Ed Lovette and Lt. Dave Spaulding, a 25-year veteran of the Montgomery Co. (Ohio) Sheriff's Office, and also a Police Advisory Board member, discusses issues such as increasing awareness for survival.

"To put it simply ... we are going to share with you here a street-proven methodology designed to respond to those situations in which your attacker(s) has 'the ability and the opportunity to place you and/or yours in jeopardy,'" writes Lovette.
